This paper explores judicial and prosecutorial ethics and discipline in Montenegro, focusing on existing frameworks for enforcing accountability mechanisms. We closely scrutinize Montenegro's national framework for judicial ethics and discipline, assessing its effectiveness, highlighting challenges, and providing recommendations for enhancement. We analyse the performance of institutions and bodies involved in the judicial accountability system from 2016 to 2022. The paper is organized into five chapters, each addressing distinct aspects of the legal and institutional framework, track-record, and concluding remarks on judicial and prosecutorial ethics and discipline.
