Civil Rights Program/Kosovo (CRP/K) in cooperation with European Citizen Action Service (ECAS)- Brussels, has organized Triple A (Access to Information, Advice and Active Help) Regional Conference (26-27 November 2015) in Priština. The Triple A project is co-funded by the European Union. The aim of the conference was to bring together NGOs who are interested in reforming legislation, policies and practices related to the provision of Triple A services (Access to Information, Advice, and Active help), including free legal aid. It has addressed several topics regarding Access to information, Advice and Active Help in the Regional level and also in the specific country/national level. The conference was attended by Triple A project stakeholders and partners, including the following: National Association of Citizens Information Services (NACIS)-Ireland; Center for Legal Aid and Regional Development (CLARD)-Kosovo; Vasa Prava- Bosna and Herzegovina; Foundation for Local Democracy- Bosna and Herzegovina; Law Centres Network (LCN)-United Kingdom; Open Society Foundation (OSF)-Albania; Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI)-Bosna and Herzegovina; Macedonian Young Lawyers Association (MYLA)-Macedonia; Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI)-Montenegro; Lawyer’s Committee for Human Rights (YUCOM)-Serbia; Association of Civil Society Development Centre (STGM)-Turkey; Association for Solidarity with Refugees-Turkey; Association of Youth with Disabilities of Montenegro; Centre for Civic Education-Montenegro; Res Publica-Albania; Tirana Legal Aid Society (TLAS)-Albania; Association of Educationists and for Protection of Women’s and Children’s Rights-Macedonia; and Coalition All for Fair Trials-Macedonia; In addition, presentation of the Ombudsman of Kosovo and representative of EU office in Kosovo were an added value for the discussions that took place in conference.

The general conclusion of the conference was that eligibility of the Triple A services for citizens is of the utmost importance in the realization of their rights guaranteed by international standards and national applicable law. In this context, in all states of Western Balkans and Turkey, further improvements in terms of capacity building, legislation, policy and practices is needed.
