Maja Bjelic, project coordinator of CeMI, this morning on Nikšić TV invited citizens to report the corruption in health care system through the Za zdravije zdravstvo application, available for iOS and Android devices, as well as through the website www.zazdravijezdravstvo.me.

She pointed out that CeMI was the first organization that raised question about the corruption in health care system, and that this project represents a continuation of CeMI's efforts for improvements in this area.

In addition to the interest in project of most institutions, she also emphasized the role that citizens have in process of healing health care system of Montnegro.

"Our team encountered to great interest by citizens for the implementation of the project activities so far. Citizens recognize the existence of problem of corruption in health care system and violations of patients' rights on various fields and are willing to share their experiences. Apart from the findings of our research and legal team, this is an undoubted indicator of the need for the implementation of this and similar projects."

She also explained which services the application provides, target groups of the project, as well as what activities are expected until the end of its implementation.

The project "For a Healthier Health Care System!", implemented by the Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) is supported through the program "CSOs in Montenegro - from basic services to policy shapers - M'BASE" implemented by the Centre for Civic Education (CCE), Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), NGO Center for the Protection and Research of Birds (CZIP) and NGO Politikon Network (PIN) from Montenegro.
