Based on 61.3 percent of the processed sample, Djukanovic won 39.9 percent of votes and Milatovic 60.1

According to the data of the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI), based on 61.3 percent of the processed sample at the presidential elections in Montenegro, the candidate Milo Djukanovic won 39.9 percent of votes and Mr. Jakov Milatovic won 60.1 percent.

 

Head of CeMI mission, Ms Ana Nenezic said at the eight press conference that this sample is the indicator that the results of the second round of the presidential elections will not change significantly.

 

"When it comes to voting by regions, Mr. Milatovic won 59.9 percent in the southern region, 62.3 percent in the central region and 43.8 percent in the northern region.", she said.

 

She also stated that Mr. Djukanovic won 40.1 percent in the southern region, 37.6 percent in the central region and 56.2 percent in the northern region.

 

Ms Nenezic also stated that they have been informing the public about all the irregularities during the election day but that it is important to know that none of them could have influenced the overall election process.

 

"Keep following the results via application and on the website www.cemi.org.me.", she said.
