Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI), within the project "Society without prejudice: Solidarity to equality and inclusion" which is implemented with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as part of the project "Regional support for protective-sensitive migration management in the Western Balkans and in to Turkey (IPA II funds)", announces an open call for a scholarship program in the field of immigration policies of the EU and Montenegro, as well as for participation in the realization of other activities of the legal team.
Description of the activity:
- Participation in the realization of the activities foreseen by the program;
- Attending scheduled trainings and engaging in other activities in order to strengthen one's own capacities;
- Reporting, including regular recording of weekly and monthly reports on implemented scholarship activities;
- Carrying out other activities in order to more effectively implement project activities and the needs of the legal team.
Conditions:
- Student of legal and pedagogical sciences, political sciences, social work and social policies in Montenegro, regardless of the level of study (bachelor, specialist, master's or doctoral);
- Participation in a three-day workshop on the topic of immigration policies of the EU and Montenegro and examples of good practice;
- Willingness to work in the field;
- Knowledge of English language;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
- Ranking among the six best-rated candidates in the contest.
We offer activities full of challenges in which students will have the opportunity to expand their theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience in the field of law, protection and integration of migrants through practical work for a period of two months, with a monthly allowance of €350, and to help in making recommendations, the implementation of which will lead to further strengthening of the migration management system in Montenegro.
