The Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) announces a public contest for the best article on the topic of violence against women and gender-based violence. The contest is open to all interested individuals, regardless of their professional or academic background.
The aim of the contest is to encourage the general public, experts, journalists, students, and other interested parties to creatively and analytically express themselves on this important topic. Through this initiative, we seek to raise awareness and understanding of the complex issues surrounding violence against women and gender-based violence.
Articles will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Originality
- Analytical approach
- Relevance
- Quality of writing
Article length: Maximum of 1,000 words (approximately 2 to 3 pages in standard format, 12 pt font size, single spacing).
A professional jury composed of representatives from CeMI and other experts in the field of gender equality will review the submitted works and select the top three articles. The authors of the three highest-ranked texts will be awarded cash prizes as recognition for their efforts and contributions to the fight against violence against women. Additionally, their works will be published on CeMI's online platforms and other relevant media outlets, further extending their impact and contributing to public education on the importance of reporting violence.

Applications can be submitted via email to: [info@cemi.org.me] or published publicly and personally submitted by the article's author. In that case, it is necessary to notify our organization by email (provide the link) and tag CeMI in the given post.
The deadline for submission is September 22, 2024, by 12:00 PM.
