Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) is implementing a project entitled ‘’ Combating gendered disinformation and online violence against women in politics in Montenegro by educating women and advocating campaign’’.

The overall project goal is to raise public awareness on the phenomena of gendered disinformation and the spread of online harmful content against women in politics in Montenegro. Project activities are aimed in increasing the level of awareness of women in politics about their digital rights and how to respond to online violations, in particular during elections.

As online space occupies a significant share in the life of each of us and represents a field of the fastest exchange of information and formation of opinions of individuals, this problem represents a serious obstacle for women who want to engage in public life and politics.

In order to improve the current situation, CeMI will, within the project, implement a lot of activities, and in some of them you can directly participate:

·       By reporting disinformation and online harmful content through the Fair Elections application

·       By following the Live Display, which contains all the content published on the mentioned topic
