The Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) called on the Prosecutor's Office to respond urgently to the threats directed at that organization.

After receiving death threats via the official email of our organization, we submitted a report to the Police Directorate and attached evidence of the threats.

For more than 20 years, CeMI has been making significant efforts to democratize and improve society, and primarily to improve the integrity of the electoral process, in the public interest.

We warn of the potential consequences of growing polarization of Montenegrin society and emphasized negative rhetoric. We believe that this is just one of the consequences of such behavior.

We will dedicatedly continue with the preparation activities for the second round of the presidential elections, and we call on the competent institutions to provide us with the necessary protection.
