The Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) invited citizens, who want to contribute to the greatest degree of democracy in the parliamentary elections, to register as observers through the ferizbori.me application and the CeMI website.
Head of the Legal Department at CeMI, Ognjen Mitrovic, said that CeMI will also observe these parliamentary elections, which will be held on June 11.
"Our goal is to provide observers at all polling stations because this is the only way to protect the integrity of the election process." So far, a really significant number of citizens of Montenegro have applied to us. "We have 700 applications, but in order to be able to cover all polling stations, we need another 600 observers," Mitrovic said.
The civil monitoring of the 2023 parliamentary elections, which is carried out by CeMI, is implemented within the project supported by the British Embassy Podgorica.
