According to the data of the Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI), 50.2 percent of registered voters voted on the presidential elections in Montenegro by 3 pm.

The CeMI PR Coordinator, Maja Bjelic, stated that by 3 pm in the southern region voted 48.8 percent of voters, in the central region 54 percent and in the northern region 49.6 percent.

“By 3 pm, 54.6 percent of voters voted in Podgorica, in Niksic 59.2 percent, in Bar 44.4 percent, in Bijelo Polje 54 percent. When it comes to postal voting requests, 2.1 percent has also been approved in this round, i.e., 11 500 registered voters.“, Bjelic said.

She reminded that the CeMI observers on the entire Montenegrin territory monitor the work of election committees and she presedented indicative statistics received by them.

"The observers assessed the voting conditions at the polling stations for persons with disabilities. Thus, to the question "Are there physical barriers for access to polling stations for the persons with disabilities?" 23.5 percent answered positively, 75.9 percent answered negatively. To the question "Are there ballot patterns provided for the persons with sight disabilities?" 78.5 percent answered positively and 12.0 negatively. The role of the president of the electoral committees is mainly covered by men, 76 percent, whereas in 24 percent of the cases it is covered by women.", Bjelic said.

She also stated that compared to the previous report, CeMI received less reports of irregularities than it had been the case in the previous reporting periods.

"Certain election committees still continue with stating voters' names with their registration numbers in the voter list aloud. Also, photographing of ballot papers and publishing of photoes on social media continue to be reported.", Bjelic said.

She also invited the citizens to report the noticed irregularities to the CeMI legal team, on the phone number 020 511 513, via the application Fer izbori available in Play store and on the website www.ferizbori.me.

The processed data related to the turnout in the election day, voting trends, estimation of results after closing of polling stations, CEMI shall, during the day, announce to the public via: regular live press conferences on CeMI You Tube channel, websites www.ferizbori.me and www.izbori.cemi.org.me, official social network profiles, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as Radio Television of Montenegro, TV Vijesti and TvE, which will broadcast live the CeMI press conferences.
