According to the Montenegrin Corruptoscope survey, almost half of citizens (46.7%) believe that the level of corruption has not changed in the past 4 years, while 32.5% think it has increased.
📍 Corruption is most present in:
🏥 Healthcare (44.5%)
👮 Police (43.6%)
🧾 Every fourth citizen who had contact with inspections or the healthcare system reported that they were either expected or directly asked to provide a favor, money, or a gift.
💸 In the past 12 months:
- 10.4% of respondents paid “under the table” for public services
- Another 12% said that someone in their family did the same
