The study by the Center for Investigative Journalism of Montenegro (CIN-CG) -“Court Practice of Montenegrin Courts in Criminal Cases of Domestic and Family Violence (2021–2023): Lenient Sentences Offend Victims” - is part of the project “Support to Montenegro’s EU Integration – For an Independent and Professional Judiciary as a Key Precondition!”. The project is carried out jointly with the Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) and the Center for Civic Freedoms (NGO CEGAS), funded by the European Union through the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR), and co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration of Montenegro.
