How to create a safer public space for women in the digital environment? 🌐

Join us at the conference that will bring together representatives of institutions, the media, the civil sector, and experts to open an important dialogue on combating gender-based hate speech and online violence.

📋 The conference will feature the presentation of the report "Hate Speech Against Women in Public and Political Life in Montenegro - Media Content Analysis 2024/2025", which analyzes the presence and patterns of gender-based hate speech in the media space. Additionally, a manual for improving ethical, professional, and gender-sensitive media practices will be presented, designed for media professionals to ensure more responsible reporting on women in the public sphere.

During the second panel, we will discuss the role of the media and institutions in combating gender-based hate speech, the responsibility of public discourse, and the creation of a safer online space for women.

The conference is organized within the project "Equal in Public – For a Safe Public Space in Montenegro", with the support of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights.
