Members of CeMI on the training for improving communication skills for advocacy

Members of Centre for Monitoring and Research – CeMI attended the training for improving communication skills for advocacy, on October 31, in Brussels.

The training was lectured by Laura Shileds, founder and Managing Director of Red Thread, a Brussels-based communications agency specialising in media, presentation and message training. Five members of CeMI attended the training: Zlatko Vujovic, President of the Governing Board, Nikoleta Tomovic, Executive Director, Marko Savic, Head of Department for the Public Policy Research, Milena Nikolic, Research Coordinator and Teodora Gilic, Communication Officer as well as Daliborka Uljarevic, Executive Director of Center for Civic Education – CGO.

The focus of the training was on preparing CeMI’s staff for meeting with representatives of EU institutions and presenting the policy brief which was focused on three themes: boycott of the Parliament by all opposition parties and forthcoming electoral reform, political pressure on the RTCG Council and issue of postion of NGOs in Montenegro.

Policy brief shows views to overcome the political crisis in Montenegro.

The training was organised within the project “Raising CeMI’s Policy Expertise and Policy Impact on the national and international level”, which was financed by Open Society Institute – Think Tank Fund.
