The director of the legal department of CeMI, Ognjen Mitrovic, commented on the results of the first round of the presidential elections for N1 BIH and pointed out that "It is not a surprise that Djukanovic entered the second round. For his opponent, it was uncertain whether it would be Mr. Mandic or Mr. Milatovic. Surprising is the difference by which Mr. Milatovic had almost 10% more votes than Mr. Mandic and thus effectively entered the second round."
"Previous presidential elections always ended in the first round, therefore it is ungrateful to give any kind of forecast. What is characteristic is that the Democratic Party of Socialists and Europe, whose candidates entered the second round, are two parties that do not form the government. This is a clear message from citizens that they are not satisfied with what is happening on the political scene, and at the same time an indicator of the great need to organize extraordinary parliamentary elections," Mitrovic pointed out.
Commenting on what contributed to this result of Mr. Milatovic, Mitrovic said, "Europe now as a political entity arose from the program to increase wages in Montenegro, during the Government of Mr. Krivokapic and, in essence, that is the key reason on the basis of which they received support In addition, there has been a certain saturation of citizens who do not want to primarily deal with issues of national or any other divisions, and all this has significantly affected the result of the candidates of Europe now."
