Montenegro still ranks near the top of the European list of organized crime, while citizens’ trust in the judiciary remains below 50%. Despite certain improvements, numerous challenges persist, and transparency, independence, and efficiency of the judiciary are key to strengthening public trust and ensuring sustainable progress.

This video was created with the aim of raising public awareness about the importance of transparency and accountability in prosecuting cases of organized crime and high-level corruption, as well as about the significance of an independent, efficient, and professional judiciary in Montenegro.

The video was produced within the framework of the project “Open Trials Project: Monitoring of Organised Crime and High-Level Corruption Trials in Montenegro”, implemented by CeMI in cooperation with the Media Syndicate, with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
