CeMI organized today a one-day training titled “From Idea to Impact: Training on Political Leadership for Women” at the Academy of Knowledge in Budva.

The training focused on strengthening women’s political and leadership capacities through four thematic modules: political leadership and decision-making, public speaking and communication, digital security and protection, and the development of political strategy and messaging.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to engage in practical exercises aimed at identifying their own leadership styles and values, preparing and delivering short public speeches, responding to online violence, as well as defining target audiences, key messages, and communication channels. Special emphasis was placed on gender barriers in politics, building self-confidence in the public sphere, and developing authentic political engagement.

The trainer at the workshop was Dr. Jovana Marović, political leadership expert.

The training was implemented as part of the project ““Challenging Gender Bias and Enhancing Women’s Political Participation in Montenegro through Public Awareness, Capacity-Building Trainings, and Gender Representation Advocacy”, with financial support from the Embassy of Canada, through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
