Two-day training for students for work with migrants

In the past two days, we organized training for students to work with migrants.

The topics of the training were the System of International Protection of Foreigners in Montenegro, Criminal-legal area of international protection of the rights of foreigners in Montenegro, Work of the Reception Center in Spuz: challenges in the age of pandemic, Youth and volunteerism (term, concept, principles and values), as well as and The importance of working with vulnerable groups in the process of educating the youth.

During the training, Teodora Gilic, the CEO of CeMI, Milica Zrnovic, coordinator of the project "Society without prejudice: through solidarity to equality and inclusion" of CeMI, Irena Rakocevic, MA, head of the Directorate for the reception of foreigners seeking international protection, Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as Nenad Koprivica, MA, expert in the field of immigration policies.

The two-day training was organized as part of the project "Society without prejudice: Solidarity to equality and inclusion" which CeMI implements with the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as part of the project "Regional support for protective-sensitive migration management in the Western Balkans and Turkey (IPA II funds)".
