Advocacy for open government: civil society agenda-setting and monitoring of country action plans
In the January 2013, CeMI has started with implementation of a regional project: „Advocacy for open government: civil society agenda-setting and monitoring of country action plans“, which is supported by the European Commission in duration of 24 months. This project aims to encourage development of the open government concept and to strengthen capacities of civil society organizations to influence on establishment of responsible and transparent governance through monitoring process of implementation of undertaken commitments through initiative for open government partnership.
This project is implemented by PASOS in cooperation with organizations from Western Balkan countries: Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies, from Serbia; Center for Research and Policy Making, from Macedonia; Institute for Democracy and Mediation, from Albania; Social research Center (Analitica) from Bosnia and Herzegovina; and Riinvest from Kosovo. Montenegrin partners on this project are: Center for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) and Center for Democracy and human Rights (CEDEM). Key activities of this project are: monitoring of action plans for open government, creation of mapping studies on implementation of commitments undertaken under OGP, conducting of public survey and advocacy of changes in this area.
