Conference ''Hate speech and online violence on the political scene of Montenegro - How to create a safer online space for women’’ on Friday

Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) will host a conference titled ‘’Hate Speech and Online Violence on the Political Scene of Montenegro – Achieving a Safer Online Space for Women?’’ on Friday, February 9th, starting at 10:30 AM at the PR Center.

Speakers for Panel I „How equal are women to men in politics?“:

·        Drita LOLLA, Member of the Committee on Human Rights and Freedoms;

·        Marija BLAGOJEVIC, Researcher and Gender Equality Expert at UNDP;

·        Nada DROBNJAK, Expert and Former President of the Committee on Gender Equality;

·        Boris MUGOSA, Social Democrats of Montenegro;

·        Marko SAVIC, Faculty of Political Sciences.

 

Speakers for Panel II „What Can We Do Regarding Online Violence Against Women in Politics?“:

·        Milijana VUKOTIC JELUSIC, State Secretary in the Ministry of Education of the 43rd Government of Montenegro;

·        Nerma DOBARDZIC, Deputy Ombudswoman;

·        Vesna RAJKOVIC NENADIC, Program Coordinator, Media Institute of Montenegro;

·        Marko SAVIC, Faculty of Political Sciences.

 

The conference is part of the project ‘’Contribution to the inclusion of minorities into the political life of Montenegro’’, implemented by CeMI with the support of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights of Montenegro.
