This book is a second edition within the project "Improvement of electoral legislation in Montenegro", supported by the Norwegian People's Aid NPA and the National Endowment for Democracy NED.

The first edition of the publication "Elections and electoral legislation in Montenegro 1990 - 2004" systematized data on elections for representative bodies of power in Montenegro since 1990 to 2004. The second edition has been supplemented by information relating to Parliamentary elections held in September 2006. Also, the whole publication is complemented by an analysis of the political framework of the elections held in this period. In this way, in one place are consolidated all relevant information related to the development of the electoral system in Montenegro.
