Press Conference on the occasion of the formal establishment of the “LegalAidNet“ and presentation of the activities within the project “Free Legal Aid to Marginalized Groups“

Within the project "LAMG - (Free) Legal Aid for Marginalized Groups ", implemented by CeMI, and supported by the European Union through the EU Delegation to Montenegro, a press conference for presentation of the formal establishment of a CSO’s Network “LegalAidNet” and project activities was held.

Speakers at the press conference were Vlado Dedović, Director of the Legal Department of CEMI, Branka Lakocevic, Deputy Minister of Justice, Marina Vujacic, Executive Director of UMHCG, Tijana Žegura, Program Coordinator at Juventas and Nikoleta Tomovic, Executive Director of CeMI.

At the press conference was presented Network for providing free legal aid to marginalized groups “LegalAidNet”, as well as the activities carried out within the project "Free legal aid to marginalized groups." One particular reason for organizing a press conference was calling members of marginalized groups to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the Law on Legal Aid and promoting network of CSO’s LegalAidNet for providing free legal aid to marginalized groups. At the press conference was also presented research and findings on public opinion about the right to free legal aid.
