The Monitoring Center considering that the institution of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms is very important for Montenegro, from 2002 actively advocated and promoted its introduction. After being introduced, CEMI held that this institution needs further support in order to start functioning in the best possible way. To that aim, with the support of Swedish Helsinki Committee, the Monitoring Center initiated the project “Monitoring the work of the Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms”.
Report consists of four parts:

• CATI research of public opinion on 1000 respondents – Pavle Gegaj
• Report with two focus groups – Andja Backović, psychologist
• Report on monitoring the media coverage – Bojan Paunović
