Contribution to the increase of female political activism in Montenegro

The project "Contribution to increasing female political activism in Montenegro" aim is to contribute to higher level of political activism of women, strengthening gender equality and improving the position of women in Montenegro. For several years, CeMI has been continuously advocating for improvement of gender equality in Montenegro, and this project represents an upgrade to previous activities and projects that CeMI implemented. The aim of this project is to contribute of achieving gender equality, by conducting monitoring of online content from a gender perspective, and contributing to the creation of a safer online space for women and reducing digital violence against women.

A series of project activities will strengthen the mechanisms for creating a safer online space for women in the public and political life of Montenegro, as well as increase the level of public awareness of the importance of women participation in the decision-making process.

The project is financially supported by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights of Montenegro.
