Voice Without Barriers: Towards Greater Political Participation of Minorities

The project Voice Without Barriers: Towards Greater Political Participation of Minorities has the overall goal of contributing to the establishment of conditions for full and effective equality of minority peoples and other minority national communities in relation to the entire population of Montenegro, so that their voice has an equal impact on shaping public policies and social development. Contribution to this goal will be achieved through the fulfillment of two specific objectives:

1. To empower members of minority peoples and other minority national communities through systematic awareness-raising, improvement of knowledge, and development of skills necessary for active, informed, and sustainable participation in the political life of Montenegro;
2. To increase public visibility and social relevance of issues related to the political participation of minority communities, in order to build broad social and institutional consensus for removing barriers to their authentic representation.

The project is implemented by the Centre for Monitoring and Research (CeMI) in partnership with the NGO Walk With Us – Phiren Amenca, with the financial support of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights.
